This Amendment No. 1 to the Schedule 13G (this “Amendment”) is being filed on behalf of Fir Tree Inc., a New York corporation (“Fir Tree”), relating to the Ordinary Shares, $0.01 nominal value (the “Common Stock”), of Noble Corporation plc, a company registered in England and Wales (the “Issuer”), purchased by certain private investment funds for which Fir Tree serves as the investment manager (the “Funds”).
